hi
i am developing web application for finding INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDER for visitors.. who are visiting our web page ( For example, I need to get provider name like AIRTEL, BSNL, TATA PHOTON...)   i tried some of the way but i cant get the solution.. anyone tel how to get the ISP for visitors..

Solution 1

You'll find the DNS name of the machine making the request using:

var dnsName = Request.ServerVariables["REMOTE_HOST"];

That should give you the url of the machine making the request - they usually include the ISP's DNS suffix.
