html pdf rendering for unicodes

I have saved hindi unicodes characters in database(nvarchar)... while retrieving from database its shows .. in hindi... but if I make its PDF ....i.e. use data from database to the pdf... the rendering to pdf shows ????? in place of data...

I m passing html strings to itextsharp for creating PDF...

Help pls..

Use a font that supports Hindi characters.

here the problem is not for the hindi fonts there's no need for hindi fonts if you have the unicodes for it and on server.. one can't install hindi fonts...

The requirement is that .. how to get the value of that unicodes strings back to look like a hindi characters in html string that I m passing to itextsharp for generating PDF ..
