organiser or organizer?

now I'm thinking that was done on purpose; in the setting I saw "Organiser" when I first signed up and after years it's still "Organiser", can't believe that with that many members noone ever corrected it..

Solution 1

I think "organizer" is the spelling in U.S. English; "organiser" is considered to be "alternative spelling" according to Wikidictionary: http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/organiser[^].

Thank you, Prasad. I presume you should have learned British English in your Indian school, is that right? Me to, but I'm more used to American English.

It's a American and British english difference. Both have their own pronunciation and spellings for word.
