hi,
i am trying to perform RESEED command in sql azure database.
i am trying to like this:
DBCC CHECKIDENT('mytable',reseed,7).
 
showing an error as: DBCC command 'CHECKIDENT' is not supported in this version of SQL Server.
please any one help to me.

Solution 1

Not sure, but give this a try and see if it works:
ALTER TABLE tableName ALTER COLUMN columnName IDENTITY (1,1)
 
As such, I found that the issue you are facing is already reported and being tracked here: SQL Azure Issue 5934[^]
