Good day everyone, i am creating a personal information module on my project, the information of the personnel can be printed on a personal information sheet, my question is this, how can I retrieve the photo/image from the database of the personnel on the personal information sheet? The report is made on crystal report 2008.

Can you please elaborate and add some more details to question. The solution below just lists out links that you can find yourself on Google.

That wasnt a solution. Its just how to use Google to find things. You didnt even care to ask what backend the person is using. That solution is extremely broad and out of scope.

Infact the question itself doesnt have proper instructions on what is wanted.

OMG! My point is that this question gets asked all the time and the answer can be found using Google. Based on the key words that were included in the question, I did several searches to provide links for different type of solutions.

Good that you took back your words.

Please mind your language.

What's the point if you just Google and paste links that cover such a broad area and are not specific to the question. Anybody can do that. You links include VB.net, ASP.net, Sql Server and one also involving web-pages which in this case it not required at all.

This would have been completely acceptable, had it been a suggestion or a comment. How can you provide a solution to a question that is not clear itself.

My 5! for providing the possible options/links that should help OP. Even though OP has not shared his specific issue, above answers covers quite good knowledgebase to start of.

i just retrieve the photo from the database and on my dataset on crystal report I just set the data type into base64Binary and drag the field on y report. Thanks a lot! Cheers!

I just found this page by searching CP. Those links are EXACTLY what I needed to see.

Thanks Soren! And the rest of you, lighten up a bit. Sometimes a list is all that is needed. Seemed to work for the OP as well!
