Hello. I am looking for a product that I can store cycle prints from a serial port. I assume that I will need a device server. I just need one that stores the data along with converting the serial to Ethernet. Any suggestions?

A device server? What is it?

Why would you ever need to convert serial to Ethernet? The serial port speeds are two low to match any serious throughput. What do you want to achieve, ultimately?

There are many process controllers that print from a serial port at 9600 baud. This signal is converted to Ethernet and sent to a printer that can take the RAW Port 9100 protocol. However, it would be nice to save each cycle as a text file also and sent to a storage location on a network. Thank you very much for taking the time to help.
