i want to make gridview with edit and delete feature without showing ID from the table

hi guys

i made a gridview with edit and delete features and tried to disable the visible state of the ID column, and it stopped working. it works when the ID column is visible on the grid view. help me please.

That should not happen... share the code snippet (along with related HTML markup) to see what might be wrong.
