can we download excel file from sql server and save into asset folder in android application?

The general answer to such a general question is : yes.
 
The difficulty is when you specify limitations like the use of technology and layers, since android does not natively connect to Sql Server, so you will have to create a "web service" layer in between.

Android is connected with sql server using jtds lib.(I try it.).
give me hint for how to download excel file using web service like that image download.
