Unable lo load Client Print Control + RDLC + vs2010

Hi,

I am working on report viewer (RDLC) on VS2010(WEB APPLCIATION) which has Export to Word/Excel/Pdf & Print options.

When I try to print report, the following error occurs "Unable lo load Client Print Control". After referring many blogs I understood that the issue is with Activex control(RSPrint Control)

The problem with clients is many doesn't have admin rights to download activex(Impossible to install addins for each and every user)

My Question is ::

Is there any other way out to print my Report? Client is not accepting for any software or addin installations... My report typically contains 2 pages to the max... Please Help!!!

Solution 1

The download is a one time download which also does not require a restart. So you can explain the clients this.

Solution 2

If installing the ActiveX is not an option, then you can tell your clients to export the report as PDF, and then print it from their PDF Viewer.
