Overview of an e-learning website?

I have got a college project to frame an e-learning website.

Can any one tell what server-controls and widgets i can integrate into my
asp.net website.

Also, what all services should an e-learning site should provide.

Let me tell you before, i am surfing google from last 10 days and

visited Wiziq,Edufire, Myngle, Sclipo, GuruFi, etc

Please add something different??

I will appreciate ur help..

Texboxes, DropDownList, GridView, Panel, Repeater ... really the list goes on. As for Widgets, anything from here is pretty simple to implement: http://jqueryui.com/[^]

Probably some e-learning stuff like course materials, practice exams and exams

Thanks for the answer Adam,

but by widgets and server control i meant the controls which

would help in the teaching process.

Like a canvas white board, or a video-chat,etc
