private website hosting

im planning to make a setup of "private website hosting" which is the hosting of a website by means of a desktop computer at home !

so kindly help me with the necessary features,pc configuration and equipments that ill be needing inorder to accomplish this task.

cause i could not get much assistance while searching on the WEB !

IM planning on doing it for a closed group of people say 50 members and at a certain period of time alone the website would be accessible !

help PLEASE !!!
