XML implementation using XML SAX2 API from Microsoft XML Parser
<!-- Download Links -->

Introduction

XInclude.exe is a command line program for processing XML <xinclude> elements according to the latest XInclude draft specification (dated May 16, 2001). Here is an example of a part of an XML document:

<section xmlns:xinclude="http://www.w3.org/2001/XInclude">
  <xinclude:include href="part1.xml"/>
</section>

When you run XInclude.exe on this document it simply replaces the <xinclude:include> element with the contents of the XML document part1.xml. As such it works exactly like the #include statement in C/C++.

Features

  • Low memory overhead through use of the XML SAX2 API
  • Indents inserted documents according to the indentation level of the parent document
  • Supports both parse="xml" and parse="text" methods
  • Supports nested includes

System Requirements

  • Requires Microsoft XML Parser (tested against the 3.0 Release)
  • Tested on Windows 2000 Professional

GeneralParsing Problem PinsussAnonymous10-Jul-02 1:05
Hi

I am working on an VC++ application which involves the Reading of a large sized XML file (5MB) from the Internet bu using SAX2.

When I am using parseURL(...) method of the ISAXXMLReader interface, it will download whole the file to the system and then start parsing. Is it possible to parse the file on that url, I want to read that file from the web instead of download and then read.

One approach is to download whole file and then get the information out of it. But, this approach is time consuming.

Any Links or Few lines of code will be greatly appreciated.
