You demo includes classes that others have written. Removing their copyright notices and renaming the classes is not cool at all.
cheers,

Yep, keep kicking people. No better way to drum up submissions and make people feel like it was worth the effort to participate.
Make sure you get them right in the ribs. Good job!

so posting someone else's code as your own (which is what removing copyright notices does, besides likely violating US and international copyright laws) is better than posting no code at all ?
the people who post code here are giving you their work with very few restrictions. why is it so hard to just leave the f***ing notices there and respect the wishes of the people who did the original work?

Beware the leader who bangs the drums of war to whip the public into patriotic fervor, for patriotism is a double-edged sword. It emboldens the blood and narrows the mind. When the drums of war have reached a fever pitch, the blood boils and the mind closed, the leader will not need to seize the rights of citizens. Rather, infused with fear and blinded by patriotism, they will gladly offer up their rights. How do I know? For this is what I have done. And I am Caesar.

Wasn't talking about that. Was referring to the 2nd and 3rd posts in this thread.

What? you mean, duplicating an article/code which has been done before doesn't diserve a *little* critisism?
We seem to be having the *same* articles posted here, over and over again. How many have you posted? Let me tell you. I have a few articles on the back burner:
1/ REXEC protocol for C#/C++
2/ VS.NET fully functional property style list.
3/ PING Studio
All I ask is a bit of variation, for articles being submitted, and I'm not the first person who has *winged* about this topic!!!

Removing copyright notices sucks.
But about the "It's been done before!" :
The fact that it has been done before doesn't mean
- *** there's nothing in the code other people can learn from ***
- there isn't another way of doing it
- there isn't a better way of doing it
- there isn't a way of doing it with different resources / less code
etc. etc.
So, IMHO :
You don't like the article 'cause it's been done before ?
DON'T READ IT IF YOU DON'T NEED IT.
Led - "Professional Console Game Coder - Windows Coder - Demo coder etc. etc. blahblah"
Booyaa.
