I found an exception occurred in:
private void RequestData(string uri, Action action)
as called by
public void GetFTSE100PriceHistory(Action action)
Further inspection reveals that the data as requested from
no longer exist.
I had the same problem at first, but there are some XML files in the XAMLFinanceDataSource project to simulate this.
You just need to replace the _dataSource field in the DataSource class in that same project.
You should have this field :
private IXmlDataSource _dataSource = new XmlDataSource.XmlFileDataSource();
instead of this one :
private IXmlDataSource _dataSource = new XmlDataSource.XmlDataSource();
You might also need to add WPFToolkit.DataVisualization using NuGet.
Hi Colin, I tried to build the XAMLFinanceWPF solution, but I keep getting an error telling me "Cannot resolve dependency to assembly 'System.Windows, Version=xxx, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=xxx' because it has not been preloaded. When using the ReflectionOnly APIs, dependent assemblies must be pre-loaded or loaded on demand through the ReflectionOnlyAssemblyResolve event."
I googled this, and the consensus is that this is due to mixing Silverlight and WPF... how did you get around this error?
