This is a game which gives the user a simulation of sitting in front of the steering wheel and driving a car
in the streets.
In this game, I will be using Accelerometer and Gyroscope to capture the motion of the ultra-book and tilt the steering wheel based on the movement, so that the car moves in that direction, just as a real car moves.
Using the code
This game is not merely like a normal car game found in lots of in mobile app market. It actually gives the user a feeling of sitting right with the steering in hand and driving the car. The user needs to tilt the ultra-book based on which side he/she wants to turn the steering and the car moves that side. The background of the app can be set to change dynamically and randomly between a set of photos. The traffic on the roads will act as obstacles to this car and the player has to avoid these obstacles in order to keep on going forward. 5 points will be awarded to the player as he overtakes a car. And every 5 cars the player overtakes he/she will be awarded bonus points of 10 or 20 maybe but also will increase the speed of the car and hence increase the chances of crashing into other cars. Since the player is bound to hit some obstacle as the speed goes on increasing, the game goes on until there is a crash. Also based on the points, new cars can be unlocked and since i am not showing the outer part of the car in my app, I will be incorporating different logos of cars in the steering wheel so as to indicate that it is a different car.
Points of Interest
I am also planning to make the side ends of the road more and more prone to crash on car touching
them as the game continues, being not so crash prone in the beginning of the game so as to give a fair chance for the player to keep growing. I guess this is an interesting stuff to implement and experience
