Fun Pack-An Ultrabook Fun Giving App

"Fun Pack", as its name indicating the app just wanted you to "Play and Explore" in your cool device..

This is my second article so I hope everyone will excuse my poor grammar and jejune writing experience. I look forward to everyone's support.

The article is about an app that target for Windows 8 OS(Desktop) which is currently in my App-factory and a version is also be available on the store now. The Windows 8 apps (Desktop & Metro style) must be extraordinary, entertain people/users while they are dealing with and provide the maximum features of the W8 platform. The ability to use Touch in addition to keyboard and mouse will be a crucial attribute for this generation's apps. So we must target for this awesome platform while writing our app.

"Fun Pack", as its name indicating the app just wanted you to "Play and Explore" in your cool device. This app provides some interesting fun activities in your handy windows device. Before you start FunPack, you please ensure that you have someone with you to share with and laugh. It will become more friendly once you accessing the fun pack app,there is no need for any network connections and GPS. It wont eat up your battery. Completely free of cost. Go Green app. Isn't it. It will be much fun to find out someone's confidence level using the tricky thumb scanning algorithm. On the dashboard you can see there is a menu list, which are ready to start your fun with different features like Dr.Love to identify the partner strength and ideal couple are also added into this app.

Using the code

I will provide full source code very soon.

Now here i am sharing some code to find out how simple animation can be done in WPF using Storyboard.

We have to keep the Storyboard declarations section in the resource tag of .XAML page.

   <Storyboard x:Key="FlashMe" >

            <DoubleAnimationUsingKeyFrames Storyboard.TargetProperty="(UIElement.Opacity)" Storyboard.TargetName="tbPercentage">

                <EasingDoubleKeyFrame KeyTime="0:0:1" Value="0"/>

                <EasingDoubleKeyFrame KeyTime="0:0:2" Value="1"/>

In the .cs page we can do animation using the "FlashMe.Begin();"

Points of Interest

 Coding in Windows 8 Both (Desktop & Metro style) from a Java background I had fun and I made it with the help of Google & forums. It was enjoyable to parse the XML/JSON present in the Metro look, but after running my app packages in my friend's Ultra-book, it was even more cool and we have played around with it. But it behaved badly in snap-view. After one hour of research we rectified the problem, so now my app will face any view mode challenge.

Windows 8 Apps Rockz.

The App Idea is for the people who wanted to have fun with their friends in free time on their Ultrabook device.
