My Next PC will be an Ultrabook

By , 7 Dec 2012

Darn it all. I didn't want to like this little computer. I've always been a "MOAR POWER" laptop user. For me, laptops are desktop replacements. It's less about the carrying and more about the "setting up in a remote place and having all the power of your desktop." My main laptop has been a Lenovo W520 for years. It's got dual SSDs, 8 (logical) processors and 16 gigs of RAM.

More importantly this is an article written by Scott Hanselman and published on this Computer Zen blog.

All three "articles" by this "author" are from that blog. Could it be Scott? I doubt it.

The member's account is nearly 10 years old. That's interesting. Maybe it is Scott. Either that, or it took them 10 years to figure out how to plagiarize.

Either way, this isn't an article by a long shot.

Sorry, the account IS me, but the article posting is not me. CodeProject marketing folks are the ones that introduced me to Intel so they are "cross posting" the article. I asked them not to, so we compromised on them posting a fragment. I've never been a fan of cross posting, but maybe consider this a "blog post notification."

If you really don't like these, make your thoughts known here in the comments as I KNOW they are watching. Wink | ;)

They have gained access to my telescreen? Unsure | :~

To those watching, I do not like this idea. Let articles reside where they reside; no need to relink to them from here, unless it's from some sort of article that aggregates links (e.g., Beginner's Walk - Web Development).

As is, this idea is not much different from those annoying sites that spoof sites like Code Project and Stack Overflow (e.g., by showing partial content, as is being done here).
