Merry Christmas from me as well Dan. Thanks for all the progress this year.
I hope to relax a little over the next two weeks or so and get to finishing off those stylesheets I started earlier in the year.

I know that resorting/refiltering only happens if a sort-relevant parameter is changed. If i multisort by Tags and priority and change the Tag only the first parameter (Tags) seems to be considered.
I have to refresh the filter to have the tasks be sorted by both! I guess it makes sense that if multi-sorting is set multi-refiltering takes place if one of the filter criteria is changed, no?
Thank You
Alexandra

Just to clarify, you are saying that auto-multi-sorting does not appear to be working?
Could you give me a specific example?
ps. My tests don't seem to indicate a problem...

.dan.g. wrote: Just to clarify, you are saying that auto-multi-sorting does not appear to be working? I´m afraid that is the case. Example:
- Auto refilter after editing is on.
- Multisort is checked and set to sort by Flag/ascending, Priority/ascending in that order.
Changing the priority of an no flagged task has absolutely no effekt! Changing the flag status just sorts after flag and is not considering priority at all. But refreshing the filter works! It´s easy to reproduce!
I suggest multi-refiltering by all criterias in the multifilter should take place if one of the filter criterias in the multifilter is changed!
BTW Refiltering takes about 2 seconds with hour-glass cursor in my list.
Thank You
Alexandra

.dan.g. wrote: Fixed 'Task Icon' dialog (but previous renaming is lost ) I just renamed every icon!!!
Any chance to get the names back by manipulating the todolist.ini file manually?
(like copying old icon-part of ini-file into the new one)
Thank You
Alexandra

Unfortunately I changed the way the icon renaming is stored.
However, I'll write some code to convert the old format to the new one and release it in 6.6.a3.

Hi Dan,
Exporting to csv.. attributes are not mapped correctly
Tags = Status
Status = Risk
Risk = External ID
External ID = Modified Date
Modified Date = Cost
Cost = File Link
File Link - Dependency
Dependency = Tags
Wish List:
would love to see customized columns exported?
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Armin Gahse wrote: Exporting to csv.. attributes are not mapped correctly Yes, it looks like importing of CSVs is also broken.
Was it working correctly in 6.5.10?

I can't enter relative dates ("t") in filters in 6.6 Alpha 1.
If I hit "t" I get the current date populated into the field.
This used to work (though I can't quite remember when -- I'm pretty certain in 6.5)

=John

Sorry John, I'm not fully understanding you.
Can you take me through the exact steps pls?
|
|
|

Running 6.6 Alpha 1.
Steps:
1: Got to "Find Tasks" (CTRL+F)
2: "New Search"
3: New Rule: Due Date (Relative)
4: "occurs before (<)"
5: in the "date" field enter "t" (for "today")
Observed Result: Today's date (12/18/2012 for me) is populated into the "relative date" field
Expected Result: "t" is in field, indicating I'm filtering on Due Date < relative date today
Sorry for not being clear in my prior post.
Regards,
=John

johnrhutchinson wrote: Sorry for not being clear in my prior post. No worries. I was thrown by your reference to 'filter' instead of 'find tasks'. For me 'filter' very specifically means the filter bar.
FWIW the bug crept in as a consequence of supporting relative custom date attributes.
I will have a fix out shortly. Fixed in 6.6.a2.
