The problem seem to be worse than before. The tool writes all new written "categories" to "Need_translation". This could be OK because the software don't know the language but I suppose a user uses his own language for new created categories.
But it still lists commands, paths, dialogs, task titles and so on:

There are some elements I can't locate.
Based on the text, can you tell me which controls you think these point to:

It comes from all file-relating commands: "Export / Ctrl+T" command, selecting a path for HTML. Also from "Save as .." command and from "Open / Ctrl+O"

Comes from "Ctrl+T - select a stylesheet

Here a new list of entries where the tool says "Need translation" and wants to translate from German to German.
I found a new source of many wrong entries: the spell checking. Every word which appears in the dialogue (the "suggested words" too) is moved to "Need_translation". Also the user-defined categories and others.

Thx Peter.
ps. Sorry to make more work for you but can you post the English text for these items because I can't find most of them, which leaves me thinking they are elements of Windows itself (such as FileOpen dialog, etc).
Pierre de la Verre wrote: Every word which appears in the dialogue You mean that the items having been translated into German are marked as needing translation?

Normally there is no English text, only German text which should be translated to German.
.dan.g. wrote: Every word which appears in the dialogue
Example:
- start Spell Check
- it find the (wrong) German word "Wass"
- the dialogue suggest other words like "Was" and "Wasser" and "Hass"
- continue with Spell Check or cancel it
- close TDL
- open the language file: It wants to translate "Was" and "Wasser" and "Hass"
I will mail you an example.

It would be really useful if we could fill in a new task entirely (or mostly) using our keyboard similarly to excel by pressing tab to go to the next column to fill in the information there. This would require more of the fields to allow direct entry instead of having to choose from a drop-down list elsewhere on the interface.
How I imagine this working:
1. CTRL + N : Creates a new task. Type in the name.
2. TAB : Goes to next column (eg. Category). Type in the category.
3. TAB : Goes to third column (e.g. Allocated To). Type in Name
4. etc. etc.
5. ENTER: to complete.
Is this possible?
A related question: Rather than have drop down lists off to the side or at the bottom, how difficult would it be to have them integrated into the tasklist so that when I click on a field in any task the drop down list of options appears for that column and I can edit the task directly there? Or, alternatively, no drop-down appears but I can type in text only fields?
I continue to appreciate the great work that you've done on this software. Thanks.
Steve
