Virtual Blood Bank

A blood bank to save life of people in need.

This is a app for people who needs blood in emergency but is not able to get it because of unavailability in the blood bank. Through this app user can enter their blood group, and people who need blood can find people of the same blood group around them by using location services and can contact them.


People in emergency need blood and some die because of unavailability of it. So if they know someone who is around them and who is willing to do . While people who will be having this app can maintain a profile of them by giving their blood group an some way for a receiver to contact them.App will send location and blood group data to a server and the server will send back details of persons nearby(around 50 miles) with same blood checking the longitude, latitude of devices.

It will use location services of a Windows 8 PC.
