Easy DICOM Viewer (Medical Images Viewer App)

Most Easy to use, Touch and Gesture Enabled Medical Image Viewer and Reviewing App for Windows 8 Tablets

Introduction

DICOM Files viewer application that can load medical images in DICOM format from local drives or DICOM Server or PACS Servers, also showing user the Data encapsulated with DICOM File like Study Information, Patient Information and other study related thfields. Using is Application User or Doctor will also be able to Save Medical Images in Standard Image Formats like JPG so he can share those images with other applications and people. 

Doctors/Radiologists will be able search and browse through medical record from PACS System and load specific Examination along with full resolution images within the app. 

 User will be able to scroll through frames of study by touching and scrolling down on the image, or may be able to use hand gestures to scroll through images. 

 

Doctor can Pan, Zoom High resolution medical images and review DICOM header data using this DICOM Viewer Application

♦ Search in Worklist and Load DICOM Images from PACS Server
♦ Load DICOM Files from Local Computer
♦ Pan or Zoom Images
♦ Browse through Multiple images in DICOM with DICOM Header Data

Platform 

We are developing this to be used by doctors, physicians, radiologists on Touch enabled tablet PCs, Application will be optimized to be used on Touch enabled Windows 8 Tablets with High resolution displays

Background  

We have preciously developed a similar app for Windows Store (Windows 8 App/Modern UI) with limited functionality but now we are developing it as a Desktop app with all the possible functions for Medial Images Viewing station

Using the code  

Developing this App in C#, WPF, XAML and will be utilizing, couple of DICOM SDKs and Touch, Accelerometer, Ambient Light Sensor, Camera, Gesture Camera (Optional) to develop this app


Intended Use

To be used in Hospital or Clinical Environments by, Doctors, Physicians, Radiologists, Medical Technicians etc.

We have over 6 years of experience in developing Medical Imaging Applications and developed couple of Medical Imaging apps
