Introduction

eTrader is an application that aims to stimulate activity in the stock markets by enabling users to experiment with different trading strategies without risking any real money whether they are beginners or pros.

Description

This app seeks to address the main challenge that keeps novices or people who do not have access to advanced analytical software from trading in stocks. By allowing users to try out different trading strategies and implementing a forum along with it, users can learn more about the mechanics of the market and in the long run, this will lead to higher levels of participation in the financial markets. The app will also provide informative charts & graphs in a way that is helpful to the user and will help in decision making, like the example shown below:

The forum will allow the users to ask questions and exchange ideas on various investment avenues or what's new in the investment market. The app will allow brokerage firms to feature some of their products via advertisements or infomercials to a more relevant audience as it's focused on investments.
