Hi,
Firstly, thank you for this tool.
Then, could you please explain me how to get process and thread CPU/Memory load ?
I create a program with several threads.
I wish create a program to measure CPU/Memory load of theses threads and save measurements in a cvs file, then create a graph with Excel for example.

I have a runaway DLLHOST.EXE in the task mgr on a W2K box running IIS that gets up to a gig and eats the memory then other web ASP apps fail. We either have to kill the task DLLHOST process or reboot the server. We checked the application for open recordsets, etc. All seems good. We probably need to monitor that DLLHOST but no tools to do that. Any suggestions?

This can be done with TaskMgr, select view column and click on the columns you want to monitor.
Leave TaskMgr running and highlight (select) DLLHOST.exe, now start navigating thru your web pages if the 'memory creep' starts, revist that particular page and hit F5, if memory creeps, its a matter of debugging the logic in that page?

I'd doubt I'd be able to fix this bug, I don't have machines with XP german installed let alone SP2 german. My guess it could be a unicode problem. I'll at the source once again.

I could be very rude (which is not a first for me).

2. When this article was originally written, I state this was a FREE tool and I could not release the code as portions the code were owned by my company.
3. This is the Free Tools section, as Colin state the author is not obliged to release any code.

I think need two optons to make program really iseful
- suitable:
1) Make to show only process that exceed 1% of processor load.
(all else is sheet info !!!)
Make self appearing from sticky state when resources really changes to some crictical state as adding increasing virtual memory or reaching that limit.
2) Make interface except grahps possible to be removed- not useful info,
but screen consuming(!!!). Need option to - eliminate distance between bars as possible for nice view, place text on bars or else.
- also:
to separate memory into physical and virtual as in task manager- very useful.
- also
to be all useful in one
- to show disk activity
for the same -
internet speed better in on that one. All code there is on this site,
but it wil be really worth than.
