Echo application for DICOM Standard Communication

This application canbe used to ping any DICOM Compatible application.This application uses C-ECHO Message for checking the association between two DICOM Applications.

Introduction

This Appliction is used to ECHO DICOM Applications.This Uses DICOM Standard Communication to send the C-ECHO Message.This is Established C++ Socket Programming and DICOM DIMSE Protocol.

Digital Imaging and Communication in Medicine. ACR (the American College of Radiology) and NEMA (the National Electrical Manufacturers Association) formed a joint committee to develop a Standard for Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine. This DICOM Standard was developed according to the NEMA Procedures. A DICOM file (*.dcm) has may built in details which may range form Patient’s Details, Hospital Details to complete information of the image within in the Image Data set. It also contains various other information which are useful at time of analyzing the image in future.
