Overview
 
Aspose.BarCode for Reporting Services is the most comprehensive .NET solution for the rendering of barcode images in Microsoft SQL Server 2000, 2005 and 2008 Reporting Services. Following the success of Aspose.BarCode for .NET, Aspose.BarCode for Reporting Services has introduced the support of more than 25 most popular barcode symbologies including Linear (Code128, Code39, Code93, EAN13, EAN14 (SSCC14), EAN8, UPCA, UPCE, BooklandEAN, Interleaved2of5, Standard2of5, MSI, Code11, Codabar, Postnet, Planet and SSCC18 etc.) and 2D (PDF417, QR and DataMatrix etc.) barcodes.
 
Integration
 
Aspose.BarCode for Reporting Services is a .NET component, complaint with .NET Frameworks 1.1 (with MS SQL Server 2000), 2.0 (with MS SQL Server 2005) and 3.x (with MS SQL Server 2008). It can be very easily integrated into existing and new projects by just adding the Aspose.BarCode for Reporting Services component in the Toolbox of Visual Studio and then dropping it onto the project wherever desired.
 
Designing
 
Aspose.BarCode for Reporting Services is a custom report item control that is used to display barcode labels on MS SQL Server Reporting Services reports with greater efficiency. The layout of barcode labels can be altered very easily according to the project needs, with fully-integrated visual barcode designer for Visual Studio. Developers can also preview and adjust the barcode images at design-time. Moreover, developer can customize different settings to make appearance of barcode labels more beautiful in accordance with the design of their reports. These settings can be configured by Barcode Settings dialog box, which can be accessed by right clicking on the barcode image (that was dragged from the toolbox).
