NConstruct is a rapid application development tool and code generator. Its goal is to reduce the time of most common enterprise application development, which consists of data handling and presentation.
 
The product includes NConstruct Builder, a powerful wizard-like tool, which creates an operational client-server application for managing and presenting data from a database in a matter of minutes.
 
Generated application includes pre-programmed libraries, such as application server, core client application, windows service library and its installer. They offer extended set of automatically supported functionalities like security, locking, auditing, data presentation, data editing, printing, exporting etc.
 
Developers can use these functionalities on their own objects and can thus entirely focus on business logic implementation.
 
There are two NConstruct editions, Basic and Professional. The only difference is that Professional edition produces full source code (including core NConstruct libraries) while Basic edition creates source code for database-based objects only.
