LINQ Insight

Devart Software
Version: 1.10
LINQ Insight is a Visual Studio add-in that allows you to execute LINQ queries at design time right from your code, and thus greatly simplifies creating and debugging LINQ statements. It supports LINQ to Entities (Entity Framework), LINQ to NHibernate, LINQ to SQL, LinqConnect, LINQ to XML, and LINQ to Objects. It integrates into Visual Studio 2010 and Visual Studio 2012. LINQ Insight displays SQL, generated for LINQ query, and returned data. LINQ Insight Benefits: * Visual Studio Integration LINQ Insight is fully integrated into Visual Studio. You don't need to run external applications and enter your queries to them, just execute LINQ queries right from Visual Studio editor and view the result without leaving the IDE. * Design-time Query Execution Unlike different LINQ debug visualizers, LINQ Insight does not require the debug session. It allows you to execute LINQ queries at Design-time. * Convenient Query Execution You don't need to perform any specific actions with your context and queries. LINQ Insight detects the used context and connection string automatically. If your query depends on some variables, LINQ Insight detects them and asks for values, so you don't need to replace them with constants. * Powerful Data Grid LINQ Insight displays the returned data in a powerful grid with advanced data grouping, sorting and filtering. *Editable Data LINQ Insight allows you to edit data for LINQ to Entities, LINQ to NHibernate, LINQ to SQL, LinqConnect. *Data in Object Form LINQ Insight actually executes LINQ queries (no emulation) and retrieves data in object form. You can browse data of related objects (that are referenced in properties of object or collection type). All data update operations are performed through ORM too. * Support for Different Kinds of Queries LINQ Insight supports both usual LINQ queries and queries through extension methods and can work with anonymous queries, for example, with immediate ToList calls.
