Hi,
 
I am trying validating emailID against database without refreshing the page and without using the update panel.
I want to do it by client side script.
Is it possible?

I read this article when I first implemented a similar scenario - Using jQuery to directly call ASP.NET AJAX page methods[^].
 
I tell you it's short, simple and very straight forward.
