It depends on how much time I have. I try to make change for both the matches (if there are two matches) in one go if I am sure that the player I select is sure to play that day. Best bet to wait till the toss and see who is playing and then select but again more than often you will not be having time to follow it everyday.
I just have a question. I create a team based on the match that is scheduled to happen or is it that I create a team with players from all the competing teams and transfer few players based on the match scheduled to happen?
Please don't post the same thing again if it doesn;t appear immediately: both of these were sent to moderation and required human checking. And I had to let them both through to avoid giving you "spammer" kicks!
I'll delete the spare.
Bad command or file name. Bad, bad command! Sit! Stay! Staaaay...
It takes about 2 hours to plan who to play.
You need to look at the pitch (spin or pace), weather conditions, team composition, injuries, past history and much more.
Now I understand why I always finish second Seriously I take only 5 minutes a match, I do look at individual performances but spin/pace and weather, no. Which is probably why I get caught out making lots of transfers for rained off matches. I suspected that Sandeep took more than 5 minutes and probably planned 5 games ahead, but I find if I over think it I end up losing. For example, for the Final my initial thought the day before was to pick Samuels and put him as my Captain. On the day of the match I studied his previous form and decided against picking him as Captain - it lost me the league.
I do find myself thinking about who I'm going to pick when commuting and such, but this is usually a gut feeling rather than studying stats.
was kidding about 2 hours. I don't spend that much for sure.

However, if a match is being played at Kolkatta (Eden Gardens), I play a spinner and if its Mumbai (Wankhade), I play a batsman.
I still can't do that. Apart from England players and some famous international bowlers, I forget who are seamers and spinners and have know clue what discipline suits which pitch when it comes to grounds. As I said I do find myself thinking about who i'm going to pick during the day but choices are mainly on gut and form - not pitch, discipline or weather. Perhaps i need to expand my variables.
