The only thing proven till day is that he won over BJP and Cong. Nothing more, nothing less.
He has jumped from 0 to 28 in 6 months.
What is the big deal? How it helps people who voted !. Neither he forms Govt nor he can sit in Opposition, as Governor rule will be imposed.
He just voted out Cong and gave a wake up call to BJP who are believing on Modi wave to do wonders. But he has to still prove on governing. Till then it is premature to take him or AAP better than the others.
The 18 odd points what he has shooted to BJP and Cong are problems which everybody know - Water mafia, EB charges, Admission fee in Schools ets. Untill he takes steps to address them (or few of them) I am not ready to differentiate him from any other blabbering poilitician.
And Yes I hope he will form Govt and do the things mentioned in their manifesto. It will be great then, but just now it is nothing really.
I don't understand why people are still not ready to accept some one who is at least better than these BJP Congress morons?
This is an oximoron statement.

Even Arvind Kejriwal has done some thing which is almost impossible. He has jumped from 0 to 28 in 6 months.
You cant clearly see people have rejected them on 42 seats, If they have achieved majority then it would have make sense and have been worth to form government.

Further, they asked for some time to manage things like getting views from public and Governor has allowed also.
Again fooling people! What were they doing before election and at time of releasing their over promised manifesto.

but if AAP wants support
Ohh really!! They have make clear before and after election that they dont want and give support. "Before jumping into the election you are not sure what you want to do!!?"
They are falling in their own traps.
I know, so only I mentioned about "try to ammend the law". And to do that did any of the Parties (opposing SC ruling) taken steps? They wont, they simple pass some statements outside the parliament to gain votes. At least BJP told they wont support any changes to the existing law in this regard.
How can you be so naive about the mechanism of law passing?
I am not. I do not know why you got this opinion!
So BJP did not do anything special!!!
With only week left for this House session Cong or others knows that they can not do anything related to chaning of law, so only they are passing some remarks in favour to gain few votes, while BJP still knows that the law will not be changed and instead of playing safe went aganist the wind and contradictied.
[EDIT: And yes they may get more votes now. Who knows ! ]
Private conduct of two responsible adults should not be the business of government, its a harassment of those who wants to lead private lives. But I guess a huge part of our society has not yet matured to accept it.Even i have fear of aggressive militant gay campaigners. Just like in west, there will be demands by NGOs/ media to accommodate gay marriages within a legal framework and allow the right of adoption to gay couples and so on.Its too much for the society where even heterosexual relationships are scrutinized by cast /creed and what not.May be after some more years also society might tolerate but still not support.
As far as politicians are concerned ,neither of the party really sympathize or care about them,it is just the vote bank that matters,I would laud BJP for making their stand clear even though they might end up loosing certain votes. And for Sonia and Rahul it was unusually faster of them to respond on 377.
Whatever you said is another aspect of thinking though a very bold stance from BJP.
.And for Sonia and Rahul it was unusually faster of them to respond on 377.
Both Congress A and Congress B Team(those support congress directly or Indirectly) are very quick to react on this issue for Vote Bank Politics, while staying so quiet on "Price rise and Inflation"(Include #AAP in this as well, surprisingly they are also quiet in this matter).
I dont understand this logic..
Why cant Cong, Left have legitmate rights to support this issue? Why Only BJP is correct in opionion and else are vote politics? BJP may be aiming for conservative votes too?
Too much of good is bad,mix some evil in it
I was reacting to the point where you have mentioned that the stance by BJP was "bold".I just wanted to stress that it doesnt have to be "bold". It may be a vote bank politics also.
It may be their political view however they have stand against the hype and risking that particular community votes.
Conservatives vote means ortho Hindus. christian ans muslims who consider gay as sin.
I think this is their belief and we can not expect them to accept or adopt it quickly. It will take time till then it shouldn't be thought as 'ortho' as we live in Indian culture.
And last - 'They' says its against nature.
Note : I have amend this post many times before posting it here, by choosing proper words which intend not to hurt any community or religion beliefs. I have said enough for #377. I am against to make this issue a political to gain benefit.
Arvind Kejriwal asks for 10 days time from Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung. Writes letter to Sonia Gandhi and Rajnath Singh. #AAP has always said that we will take support from none of the parties. But Congress submitted letter pledging unconditional support to AAP and BJP is also saying it will support #AAP on issue basis. The motive of both these parties should be exposed to the public.
We want to know what is the stand of Congress-BJP on the 17-18 issues that we have sent in the letters. Once we get the replies we will make their reply public, hold Jansabha's and ask the public if we should form government. We will wait for BJP-Congress to reply.
LG has said that whenever #AAP is ready, it can contact the LG for government formation.
For first time in Indian Politics a party forming the government is putting forth its conditions, not the other way round. #AAP
There seems fair amount of chances forming government now.
