Does freedom of speech means anyone can raise destroy India slogans
This is not freedom of speech that we need to consider. We need to bring forward the hidden propaganda of this entire moment
and I think anyone can raise any slogan we need to build society which should understand what to take forward and what to ignore
Take chances, make mistakes, learn, laugh, love, live, succeed, prosper, and most importantly persevere. For every man dies but not every man truly lives...
There is no official coronation ceremony held to declare the lion as the king of the jungle.........Prerak Patel (SQOTD - 19/09/11)
It was not freedom of speech. It was a severe crime. Speaking against a person leads to "Maan Haani" case but what about speaking against country. The government should pass some strict bill about these matters. Freedom of speech is birth right of every Indian but should be in limit. Freedom comes with responsibility. Without responsibility, freedom is point-less.
No. Freedom of speech has several restrictions according to Indian constitution:
1. security of the state
2. friendly relations with foreign states
3. public order
4. decency and morality
5. contempt of court
7. incitement to an offence and
8. sovereignty and integrity of India.
So govt. should take strict measures, so that these scenes will not be repeated.
Lost of free thinker and has always been anti-establishment
You mean free thinkers, rather thinking are/is lost, and therefore they are anti-establishment? So, free thinking leads to following the establishment, and since there is no free thinking at JNU, they are anti-establishment. The thinking, there, is therefore somewhat coerced by someone who have a hidden agenda. Which needs to be exposed anyway, isn't it?
