GeneralIndian Parenting case [modified]membersuper3 Dec '12 - 21:22
Today , verdict will be given over the Case of child abuse by Indians in Norway.

I am glad that, Indian Govt did not intervene to make it like a Indians vs rest of the world issue.
If parentss were abusive then they should be punished. But if this yardstick is applied than half of Indian population and most
of the teachers should be in Jail.

Seeing the reports comming out on a daily basis,it seems there is some truth in the claim.
First parent say that nothing happened and all was good. Then Police released the report that there were burnt marks and scars.
Now Lawyers say that parents had difficulty with the boy and asked for help but none was provided.
cheers,
Super

They are convicted. father got 18 months and mother 15 months imprisonment. They mentioned that the child was beaten regularly with belt. If this is true then the judgement is correct.

I hope these losers would have learnt their lessons. I wonder when can our government and judicial system be as effective. Frown | :(
