Will they? They have this golden opportunity win the series after gap of around 25-30 years. They should not loose this at any cost.

Momentum / morale / confidence does matter a lot in these types of games.
I just want to take you back to a few days ago when South Africa played Australia (at Perth) and were 166/6 or something even worse on the first day. Thanks to a couple of their players, they scrambled to 200 odd. It looked all over for them. They won the test!
You've got to accept how our team sucks. Our bowling is ordinary, our batting's the worst in the world at the moment. There are a few former-greats in our side as extra baggage. And a captain who's struggling with his game, his team, and who's never been that great a thinker as a skipper. This is hardly surprising, these poor performances.
