Good Day
i have windows 2003 server standard edition and recently i am facing the following error
An unhandled win32 exception has occurred in svchost.exe[1392]
number of errors appears asking for a debugger to debug like Visual studio Just-in-time debugger
after closing the error windows the network service gets stopped and the server is no longer accessibel on the network.
What may be the problem and wat is the solution

It's impossible to say since you haven't given any kind of error messages. SVCHOST is a hosting process that contains any number of other services running independantly of each other. Look in the event log to any clues to what the error may be.
The number you did supply (1392) is the process ID and will change every time the system starts. You can use the following command to see all of the services hosted by the process ID you have. This may give you some kind of hint as to which service is screwing up.
tasklist /svc /FI "PID eq <procId>"

This windows service is written in VC++ (6.0) and was directly migrated to VS2008 (C++).
The migrated service works fine in Windows 2000 Server but gives access violation exceptions
when started in Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP system.
Is there some thing different in Windows 2003 server with respect to windows 2000?

Thank you for your help. Actually, I got a problem that one of my user copy a folder from his flash drive into his computer but he could not delete this folder. In that folder contain three file that windows did not recognize it. The file name is the symbol that contain only one character. Until now whether i use the command rd /s but I still could not delete it. Do you know any other tool that I can delete this file and folder?

Try del "\\?\c:\Path\File_to_delete."

No. It is only single symbol character. Refer to the extended ascii table[^], i recognize the code 227 and 254. The other one is forget.

If you mean the installation date of the OS, you can use WMI. Installdate is a property of the Win32_OperatingSystem class.
