I want to develop a Hub application using UWP universal application platform. I created a Windows 10 Universal app in VS 2015. This was an empty application so I created another Hub application using windows 8.1 universal application template and copied its files like data files, images and pages to the windows 10 universal application. The application is getting loaded but its style is not being applied. Its showing a white background and the Hub items are not properly aligned. Can any one tell me a way out of it. How to create a hub application in Window 10 universal app model.
You can lead a developer to CodeProject, but you can't make them think.

With the error above, I understand that Visual Studio is telling me that 'conn' needs to be renamed. This is my code:
Protected Sub btnPassSend_Click(sender As Object, e As EventArgs) Handles btnPassSend.Click
Dim cmd As OleDbCommand
Dim dt As DataTable
Dim conn As New OleDbConnection
'Dim conn1 As New OleDbConnection Dim adp As OleDbDataAdapter
Using conn As OleDbConnection = New OleDbConnection(System.Configuration.ConfigurationManager.ConnectionStrings("students").ConnectionString)
If conn.State = ConnectionState.Closed Then
Dim SQL As String = "SELECT strEmail FROM university (strEmail) WHERE (strEmail=@strEmail)"
'In OleDbDataAdapter, execute the SQL and check that the user's email corresponds to that in the MDB
adp = New OleDbDataAdapter("SELECT strEmail FROM university WHERE strEmail=@strEmail", conn)
'Pass email parameter named email from the value of Mail.Sent.Text
dt = New DataTable()
If dt.Rows.Count = 0 Then
ErrorMail.Text = "Please enter a valid email address"
Dim code As String
code = Guid.NewGuid().ToString()
' and am updating the code column of the table with this value. i mean inside the code column i'll store the value
' that was inside the code variable
cmd = New OleDbCommand("UPDATE university SET code=@code WHERE strEmail=@strEmail", conn)
' here i am difinning a StringBuilder class named sbody
Dim sbody As New StringBuilder()
'Send image as logo with the path http://whatever.com
sbody.Append("<a href=http://whatever.com><img src=http://mySite.com/my_image.jpg/></a></br>")
'Send link to user's email with email and code using querystring
sbody.Append("<a href=http://usingasp.net/reset_pwd.aspx?email=" + UserEmail.Text)
sbody.Append(("&code=" & code & "&strEmail=") + UserEmail.Text & ">Click here to change your password</a>")
'Send email with password reset link to the user
'Pass four parameters inside sbody: the Webmaster's email, the recipient's email, the subject line, and the sbody.ToString()
Dim SMTPMail As New System.Net.Mail.MailMessage("sender’s email address", dt.Rows(0)("strEmail").ToString(), "Reset Your Password", sbody.ToString())
SMTPMail.From = New MailAddress("info@mySite.net")
SMTPMail.Subject = "Link to reset your password"
SMTPMail.Body = sbody.ToString()
SMTPMail.IsBodyHtml = True 'IsBodyHtml is true because HTML tags are included
Dim mailAuthenticaion As New System.Net.NetworkCredential("info@mySite.com ", "SMTP server password")
'SMTP configuration of Web hosting service
Dim SMTPClient As New System.Net.Mail.SmtpClient("smtp.mail.server", 25)
SMTPClient.EnableSsl = True
SMTPClient.Credentials = mailAuthenticaion
MailSent.Text = "Link has been sent to your email address"
'txt_email.Text = ""
Catch ex As Exception
'Display errors in the label
ErrorMail.Text = ex.Message
I did rename it so that I had 'conn' and 'conn1' but still got the error.
