Jelastic, Inc., the company behind the ultra scalable and interoperable cloud hosting Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) for Java and PHP applications, today announced that it has released a plugin for IntelliJ IDEA, one of the most popular Java IDEs.
JetBrains IntelliJ IDEA, also referred to as "the most intelligent Java IDE", features smart code completion, easier multi-language editing and a flexible cross-platform UI. With the Jelastic plugin, developers conveniently manage environments and deploy apps from the IDE, without having switching to a browser, resulting in significant time-savings.

Key features of the Jelastic plugin for IntelliJ IDEA include:
- Ability to work with different hosting providers;
- Ability to deploy and redeploy applications;
- Ability to view and manage user environments;
- Ability to view logs (full logs and tail logs).
