I don't know how to start my question but let me try and please excuse me if I can not explain it
I have created my windows application in VS 2013 on W7. Its running great and no issue but recently I bought new W8 laptop and tried to run the application on W8 and all my controls are off the alignment and overlapping sometime. AutoScaleMode is set o Font for each form. Has anyone faced this problem? I am sure there may be some minor setting issue but I cant think of anything.
i have connected with gps device using axwinsock control in vb.net and server receiving data from terminal/device.. even server is also able to send message to terminal in binary without getting any error message..after getting response from server.. the second message from terminal should be changed but it doesn't happen..so i m not able to understand where i m wrong. is there anyone who suggest me the technical or non technical aspect of server and device/terminal communication. i explain belove the process
1)device is connected via port with my server..
2)device send the login message to server
3)server(i) send the response to terminal according to login message(as mention in manual of device/terminal) in binary with no error
but then i must have message related to the location information from terminal/device but server(i) can't get it. terminal/device still send login message... is there any conclusion of it !?
Am coding a software to protect content in a cd/dvd....I would like to know how to embed a disruptive algorithm to the burn button so as to prevent further replication without affecting the content...am using visual studio 2013
Now I know how to use this interface, but if you search Google, the first hit was this, so I click it, and there's NOTHING THERE! Where's the code example?? THAT'S what most people want to see. Telling someone what it does it not the same as SHOWING someone. It's WAY too little, IMHO.
The inverse is this[^]. WAY too much info for a simple subject.
The point is, MSDN is technically accurate in that WHAT is presents is right, but how much is presents, or the practicality of the examples, are mostly useless.
It's quicker to Google it, or, like I did, come here & post a quick question.
