Better yet, work on open-source projects that ms doesn't profit from.
The Linux desktop, for example, desperately needs input from windows programmers, if it's ever going to achieve any kind of user-friendliness.

I haven't check, so I am possibly totally wrong. But I have already seen it in other platforms:
Month free offer, but you have to fill everything as it was a real contract. And then you have to activelly retract / step back (however it is said in legal english) before the end of the month.
In other words, it is not a free month, it is a suscription with the first month as a present.
In my opinion... a damned no go from the marketing department and a very bad policy for the company.

What gets me is that they only found 25 bugs.
There was an article linked to recently, describing how ms had to upgrading their bug database on more than one occasion, because the number of bugs kept running out of bounds.
Hundreds of thousands of bugs, and they only found 25?!?
Great researchers, or what?

Maybe it's the type of bug they were trying to find. Lots of the bugs in MS's bug database may not be the kind of bug these researchers care about. Like the icon is the wrong color.
