Google has recently opened the gates to their voice searching feature with its latest Chrome update. The service is available to all who use the browser and have the language set to US English, and is activated by calling out "OK Google" to their computer to initiate a search. OK Google, how do I turn off that feature?

I wish it was April Fool's day. This headlines just screams practical joke designed to get thousands of people to yell at their computers.

We practically scream at our computers each time our programs hang, produce incorrect results or just plain behave in an ornery manner!

A side project from Google engineers emulates the operation of a superfast, but very, very different, type of computer. You can only know the output of the program, or how long it took to run, not both.

Of course. Less and less Java programmers out there, but the Java code-base still huge and need to be maintained...

Most of the searches are because Java programmers are good targets for "male enhancement" advertising.
You'll never get very far if all you do is follow instructions.

You might be on to something. I was reading the other day about how the 419 scams are poorly written (or that they don't need to be written well) partly as a selection mechanism: only people foolish enough to believe an email that poorly written could be coming from a lawyer would fall for the scam.
Perhaps the same might be said about Java programmers.

Android development is also Java. Pretty sure Android will become an important operating system not only for mobile devices.

Not on the subject - I'm a strong believer of WEB interface and done native Android just for learning...
However if I got the time I may write about Intel XDK - I think it's a great tool that most do not know about...
