Anyone who thinks I am going to type in 2048 hex numbers, then just "go" is Dree-Ming. The least I would do is save it.... n game.com maybe...rcx 8a0 ....w and then u100, and try and reverse engineer it. I have tried to do that from the machine code but alas, my knowledge of the instruction set is not good enough. Suggestion... explain what it does cheers
the "whatever it takes" attitude

Extreme Game Programming - EXFORCE After enjoyed the demo "OMNISCENT" in 1997, I wrote another one here today. simpler, and smaller Run DEBUG in DOS Window, copy and paste the text below to DEBUG: This is what I call a masterpiece. I remember those good old days when I used to code things like that on my old home computer with the PDP-11 compatible processor and 24k memory inside... and now I write applications 100k in size at least... Goddamn video drivers!!!

As scary as it sounds (pasting hex directly into debug) have you tried it? It's actually kinda cool.
Completely useless from a teaching / learning point of view, but cool the first time you do it. Akin to those emails you get where you paste a bunch of text into word, change the font, change the size, select All and suddenly there's a picture of Homer Simpson.

First, just because it runs in DOS emulation mode does not mean that it's not a virus. There were viruses before Windows, you know...
Secondly, this seems quite interesting to me, but there's no way I'd run it without seeing the assembler code. Why don't you update the article, and include the .asm file? Even as a download link at least?
Thirdly, for anyone else who finds this sort of thing interesting, check out 256bytes demo archive. Some of the stuff here will really bake your noodle.

There's no reason to not see the assembler code beforehand. Typing ? in debug gives you the help list, which includes unassemble - U [Range].

Ya, it's actually 1,968 bytes! That's actually pretty large.
Here's something I wrote along time ago that is around that size.
http://www.opferman.net/Files/_secret.zip
There used to be 4k demos that were 3D and really awesome. I've got some 256 byte and less demos on my page as well. Actually, the 256byte demo archive I found that somehow one of the crappy things I wrote as a joke to some compo is on there! I was never the best at graphics though compared to a lot of those demos on that site. They really rock.
BTW, I have written Direct X Demos in this size.
Here's a plasma in 4k: http://www.opferman.net/Files/plasma.zip
The Source: http://www.opferman.net/Files/plasmasrc.zip
I have a few others that are smaller in size, 1k, 2k that do things like wire frame 3d cube but I don't have them on the site.

This is the way of programming we all like it. Simply copy'n paste, quick results and result is very funny. And no style guides involved You got my five for the funny idea!

heh... writing some more about your project, not only copy and paste them... what's that... it's not an articel only a description how starting your game...
Write something about your code, the game idea... and how you have developed them...
sorry for this hard words but this articel is a "0" and not a "1"...

This is the worst article I have ever read in this site. No Info, No Subject, No Predicate, No relevance to any matter. just trying to copy the binaries of an executable. I hope that the author will try give some insightbefore submitting any article.

The executable is not needed and it would take away from the purpose of the article itself. As this is an exercise to see that a simple game can be written in a very small amount of assembly code. If you did not see the machine code and just got an executable you would think "hmm, thats the worst game I have ever seen" but again that is not the purpose of this exercise...
