Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, waging all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

Training a telescope on one’s own belly button will only reveal lint. You like that? You go right on staring at it. I prefer looking at galaxies.

Ha, nice. My initial reaction was "how'd they find that many pictures to point at each spot!?" Then I realized they'd only need a couple images, so long as they are big enough that they can be moved around (to adjust where they are pointing to). For a very general implementation, all you'd need to do is indicate a focal point (or focal line) and indicate which portion of the image should be shown at a minimum.

Ah you burst my bubble I thought they were taking a picture and displaying it in real time.

Typical developer! I do the same sometimes. When I see a nice piece of software I think, hmm, how did they code that or how would I code that?

Sorry, I don't support morons who don't know how to write web pages.
(I have both Chrome and Firefox sitting here, too, and I may have opened one of them to see the page if it had been a case of the content being displayed better in them. But this? Feels more like being told to use a separate drinking fountain. FOAD)
(Not the OP. The website moron. Just to be clear.)
