Perhaps I watch too much Discovery Channel seems like everything in Australia is lethal from box jellyfish, croc, Great White, snakes spiders scorpion .. how you people survive of there amazes me!

I have to laugh at this one, having spent many years in the Oz bush, place called Ivanhoe of all things, I have the little pests for granted, easy to avoid, step on them if they get too close (obviously this does not apply to crocs and sharks).
At least we don't have f***ing great bears and tigers and lions that jump out and eat you!

I remember the incident very well, and recalled vaguely that I had posted about it.
Incidently, the Yemeni tribesmen were delighted, and gave me a round of applause. The spider looked a bit like this[^] (before, definitely not after).
