I just unsubscribed from some website where you can earn 'points' by shopping at certain webshops, clicking on ads, filling out surveys etc. Points could be traded for money.
I've been going at it for years and finally got 120 euro. Since I had a surplus of points I decided to go for 10 euro extra.
So I thought it was enough and unsubscribed. Just like that, click the unsubscribe button and all they ask 'Why did you unsubscribe?'. Click 'next' and you've lost your account and all your points.
I got an email saying I could reactivate my account, which I did, and bam I got everything back...
I wish every website had such an easy un/re-subscribe button. I'm member of more than one website where you need to email some moderator who's never online anymore himself (so much for getting unsubscribed).
I wonder how long the re-subscription is available...?

I used to be a member of two websites a long time back. I quit one and the other went bankrupt. I was getting enough points each month for a free movie ticket. I also won $1,000 on iWon.com back in its day. Then not so long ago, it all became points for a worthy cause and no actual money exchanged hands. So I quit that too.

What's the name of your sites? Smile | :)

This one is called euroclix. I suddenly got 500 points for buying something somewhere. I shop there more often and at that rate I'll have an extra 100 euro a year (and not 120 in five years, like last time)...

Member of a survey site. They would pay you with point, get enough point you could pick the item of choice. Now they charge you for the gift cards, so you need more points to get what you use to get.
