A german court recently ruled that a food producer may continue to use a misleading statement about consumer health in their advertisements because as advertisement, it is not intended to be factual.

This isn't an exception, this is the norm. As a trained pub table psychologist, I'd imagine that living in such an environment leads some people to believe "it's not a lie if it makes you money".

Just one example I could think of.

That is minor compared to some scum that take retired people's money. There are many bad people out there. Fortunately they probably are the minority, but just a few make misery for so many.
