naw, general groups, or local reps, or special committee's. I just go where I am told and speak to whom I am told.
and yes, I am aware most of congress have been lawyers at one point or another.
When I present for programmers, or engineers, or even managers/businessmen I am often available afterwards for thorough discussions (within some limits). When I find myself speaking to the other forms of life by request, I do the job, and leave.

So do you wear a hat with bells on it and back and breast placards with biohazard symbols while calling out 'unclean' in public for 2 weeks after you return from DC?
You know, every time I tried to win a bar-bet about being able to count to 1000 using my fingers I always got punched out when I reached 4.... -- El Corazon

almost. I had 3 foot long hair, and a face resembling porthos the pirate, and shirt tastes that screamed tourist in 7 languages without even one letter on the shirt (well, except for one which I found out was a japanese sushi menu printed on the shirt). It is amazing how many people avoid you.
I haven't given a presentation since the hair cut and clothing upgrade.

45 minutes on our embedded software emulation harness to a bunch of embedded systems guys (mostly hardware experts) today. In Berlin. Fortunately, in English, although 95% of them were non-native English speakers. Went OK, I suppose. At least the one software expert came up to me afterwards and said he appreciated what I presented.
Oh, and Berlin - excellent. Spent last night at Hackesher Markt, which was nice. S-bahn - wish we had that in the UK. Hotel on Kurfurstendamm was nice as well, especially as the company was paying

Job Board has arrived. I have $299 coupons. Posting a job costs $299. What a strange coincidence. Several minutes ago I had $249 coupons and posting a job cost $249. The Truth Is Out There

I wouldn't call 5,188,999 coupons [and growing] limited edition
Haha, notice this x,xxx,999. It's a conspiracy definetly!
Mostly, when you see programmers, they aren't doing anything. One of the attractive things about programmers is that you cannot tell whether or not they are working simply by looking at them. Very often they're sitting there seemingly drinking coffee and gossiping, or just staring into space. What the programmer is trying to do is get a handle on all the individual and unrelated ideas that are scampering around in his head. (Charles M Strauss)

There's only 5,057.
(and no, I'm not going into the long and possibly incrimintating story of why it's not an even 5,000 )
