Send Virgin a polite letter along with some proof of your business travel. I did this about two years ago and left AA for US Air; as bad as QANTAS may seem to suck for you they couldn't even be close to the rude treatment I received from AA for a year before I left.

AA and QANTAS ARE partner airlines.....
Yes, I am expecting I'll have to provide some proof of my claims. I'd be stunned if they said no, like I said, I am surprised they don't advertise an offer to do what I am requesting, and I said as much in my letter.

Gee, Christian. Maybe one flight you'll be stuck carrying the chickens and sitting on hay bales at the back of the plane like me. A seat? Luxury! When I was a lad they didn't give us seats.

Damn! That's one of my favorite movies of all time, and I didn't see it in the guide today.
Oh well, off to bed, and Phoenix tomorrow...

It (and the others) are in my collection. I can watch 'em any time I like -- neener neener neener!
Where in Phoenix? Got time to meet up? I have no plans.

I'll likely not have much time this trip, but another time we'll manage. I'm dashing out after work ( actually, in about 20 minutes ), hitting the hotel and studying the material for the meeting, and crashing. There's a stack of stuff I have to wade through that the boss just dumped on my desk, so socializing isn't on the agenda. As soon as the meeting is done tomorrow, I'm back on the road.
Some other time we should meet up, maybe with Rob M as well. He's always good company, too.

Mythbusters ("Aerojet’s own engineer extraordinaire, Karie Quiggle, will be on-air with show hosts Grant Imahara and Tory Belleci. Chief Engineer Dan Meyer’s behind-the-scene's incredible engineering prowess will be apparent, and your Aerojet Communications department was also on hand to keep the MythBusters’ crew from trying to steal Karie away from Aerojet". - taken straight from Aerojet's [where I work] publicity handout)
Dancing With The Stars Results (Yesterday's show, but I taped it)
Spooks (Or "MI5" as it's known in USA - again taped)

I served, but I don't consider myself a vet. I give that for the men and women who actually went in harms way. Thank you for the time you took to post this.

Neat trick of the day. I just noticed that a ZIP file acts like a normal folder on any submenus on the Windows 7 start menu; that is, it displays a popout menu when moused over.

But does it act like a normal folder in Explorer? Can you drag files from it straight to an ActiveSync Explorer window? Can you save a file from Word straight into a Zip file?

Dunno about word, but I've opened/edited/saved files in a zip using textpad in XP using the zips as folders option.

Finally Windows has caught up with where RiscOS was a decade and more ago with archives.

Do you use a compressed volume in Windows? It has been around since MS drove Stack and Double Space out of business. It is a little better then storing in a zip file, as it is totally transparent.

or, really, any of the Norton Commander clones, has always done that.
Plus you have the benefit of twin panels for easy copying/moving between locations.
Another thing I recently learned is that GMail does not allow ZIP file attachments. I like to send myself email from the office to home and back, so this is kind of a big PITA.
I renamed the extension to PIZ, and Google is happy to send it. With Total Commander I press Ctrl+PgDn and it goes right in, regardless of the extension.
I don't think Windows has caught up to that.
I know it hasn't caught up to the other 397 awesome things TC can do.

Just imagine it from a woman's perspective though.
She turns down the lights, lights some candles and slips off her clothes only for her previously amorous suitor to disappear on a search for his golf clubs.
