But what kind of code quality are we talking about (discounting of course that the code is currently in VB, so anything could be an improvement).

Dunno about the for pay ones; but the only free one I didn't find issues with the output code a few years ago (last time I played with them) was reflector which ate all the comments.

See, after 24 hours you've got them on the ropes and begging or the sanity of C# [sorry I have to ;P]. Gert them thinking in objects and manageing data, ignore the UI and show the people that matter how good it can be.

Haha, just hope it doesn't hit a pebble, which would probably cause one of the following:
- The pebble would cause it to flip and encounter so much turbulence during the flip that it breaks apart and explodes.
- The pebble would pass straight through the windshield and into the driver's brain, killing him/her instantly.

What kind of namby pamby bullets have you been firing? Nerf blaster?

Well I used to fire 7.62's from an SLR, and that would be about 1500 Mph, but that was muzzle velocity, it would drop drastically even after a few meters, so it would be impossible to hit the car from behind.
A standard .357 Magnum bullet is only about 800 Mph muzzle velocity, so that would easily fail.
And Better a Nerf Blaster than a Nerf Herder!

I was thinking of rifle rounds as being 900 to 950 m/s, I'd forgotten about handguns. It's going to be pretty hard to hit that thing with small arms fire no matter what, I could hardly hit a stationary target from 100yds unless using a GPMG.

Nerf herder: there's a name I haven't heard in a long time. I will hasten to the internet and download the "Starwars Rap" immediately.

There are sub sonic rifle rounds as well. AFAIK they're intended for long range sniping in calm wind conditions. They never do a super/subsonic transition to start tumbling but their lower speed makes them more vulnerable to any wind gusts...

Not having the supersonic boom would make the crack and thump ranging trick harder as well which might make a sniper a little less nervous

The sub sonic rounds predate that sort of hardware though. (or predate its revelation to the white world anyway)

Just lucky - it was another of those "What's the question - oh that's the answer, now fit it in" jobbies. Not complaining!
