You are giving this troll way too much of importance. We've had him banned a couple of times (don't ask, it's a very long story) and he's the most derisory person that I've ever seen on CP.
We've given him chances. Many, actually. But he will continue to troll the way he always had.
I wish he could be IP banned.

It's prejudice built up by CPissm being consistently offensive.
Personally, I love the idea that Raymond spends his nights posting bad regexs to mailing lists under the pseudonym of Jane Smith. He'd be like a super hero, only more nerdy and less useful. [Trevel] | FoldWithUs! | sighist | µLaunch - program launcher for server core and hyper-v server

A little fat for my tastes, but I wouldn't roll her out of bed onto the floor if I woke one morning to find her there beside me. I might even cook her breakfast.

Good Grief, man! The only way she could be thinner is if she was anorectic on the third year...

But I like anorexic women! They cost almost nothing to feed.

So, i have been offshore in the middle of the North Sea, since Christmas Eve.
Today was going home day. The kids are desperate for me to come home so they can open more presents.
Everything started looking dodgy yesterday, when the afternoon flights to the field where cancelled due to freezing temperatures and snow showers en route
Today has been a saga of yes/no:
Flights put on hold first thing due to freezing temperatures
Flights released, still not departed
Flights put on hold again - weather
Flights released
Flights put on hold - issue at the airport
Flights released
Flights put on hold - snow at the airport
Flights cancelled.........
Fingers crossed for tomorrow, but with the forecast for it to get colder.......i'm not going to hold my breath!
After all, been on the platform for both christams and new year, what's another day!

And I thought an hour at Waterloo with no trains was bad. Hope you get home soon, kids need Daddy; it's the law.

It took me 20 minutes to get into work this morning. 20 MINUTES!
It usually takes 10, bloody snow.

At least you got to work. I injured my knee on the way down my hill, ending up hobbling back home and calling in to work.
Not only that, two of the people who made it work now have a stupidly long bus ride home because the trains are not running.

Because it is empty.
It was full when I put the iPhone in before leaving for work.
Somewhere in the walking to the garage in 6" of snow, dropping the son off at day care and walking in to work that stopped being the case.
Spent an hour retracing, shoveling, and begging the powers that be while dialing it hoping it would be close enough for me to hear the vibrate mode.
That phone will cost more than I make in a week to replace and was less than 2 weeks old.
I hate my luck.

That is why I tend to put my phone either in my shirt pocket or in a pocket on the inside of my jacket. Gravity may pull it down, put it won't pull it out.

You bought a phone that costs more than you make in a week? That's crazy! Either the phone is insanely overpriced for where you live, or your wages are insanely low Either way it sucks. Hope you find it, it's gotta be around somewhere close by.

In the UK at least replacement costs are totally different to the cost of a phone "bought" at the start of a contract.

AT&T subsidizes the phones, cost me less than $300 when I signed up.
The actual price is a lot higher.
And I am an intern. After being laid off from a job of 8 years thanks to a recession I was lucky to get this. (And this state sucks for pay)
Thanks.
