Are you attending any of the C++ talks?
|
|
|
|

Even though I just do .NET development for work, I'm seriously thinking about taking in one or two of the C++ sessions. The session list is a huge wall of text, so I still need to sift through which ones I want to go to.

Ok, if you do, then it'd be nice if you could post session summaries here

N00b. Figuring out which sessions you want to go to should be done as far in advance as the preliminary schedule is made available.
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, waging all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

Heh, tell that to Microsoft. They didn't release the session schedule until after yesterday's keynote!

*sigh*
I'd assumed greater competency from a multi-billion dollar company than I would have from a small entirely volunteer run convention, and I've yet to go to an SF Convention that didn't publish it's panel schedule at least a few days in advance.

I'm currently waiting for the hoard of people to clear out of hall C, so I can get my tablet w/o wading thru a huge crowd.
Is there a CP booth in the expo area this year?

If anyone would like to sell their gifted Win 8 tablet, I'm interested. I wasn't able to make it to Build. :(

It's going to be an ISO though. A VM image would have been more convenient.
Not to mention that to get the full experience you also need the right hardware.

True on both accounts, but you can install it into a vm

Hmm, might try it out...
My old Core 2 Duo (WinXP) has been sitting idly ever since I got my Phenom II Quad (Weven)... Was thinking of putting AVLinux on it, but maybe I'll try out the Metro preview instead...
Wait a second...
Metro...

coding code is cool for coding coders that code code on the project that is code.
