Yeah, which drives me nuts because I much more easily associate a color with a function than some obscure icon. For example, the very red Post Message button and the CPorange Cancel button is absolutely clear now to me. I don't need to read the text, I don't need an icon, the color alone is sufficient for me to instantly move the mouse to the appropriate button. Similarly with the emoticons. If I want to puke, I look for the green one, if I want to rant, I look for the red one. I appreciate that others might not be so color-visual as I am but, but I would really appreciate it if Google, Microsoft, and the rest didn't take that option away from me.
